Job Description

AACI is seeking a Behavioral Health Director to lead our specialty services for community members of all ages, including state welfare recipients, refugees, and asylum seekers. In this pivotal role, you will design and implement innovative programs while ensuring high-quality service delivery in office, community, and school sites.

As a key member of our Executive Leadership Team, you’ll work directly with the CEO to drive strategic initiatives that make a meaningful impact. You will inspire and supervise a dedicated team, nurturing the next generation of behavioral health professionals through training and mentorship. Additionally, you'll drive strategic business development to expand our reach and enhance our services.

Salary: $172,000.00 - $220,000.00 (Rate is dependent on license and level of experience.)

Education & Experience: -Licensed in the state of California as a Marriage Family Therapist, Social Worker, or Psychologist. -10 or more years of related work experience. -Five or more years of management/supervisory experience required.

AACI's mission is To strengthen the resilience and hope of our diverse community members by improving their health and well-being. AACI was founded in 1973 to advocate for and serve the Southeast Asian refugees that were resettling in the Bay Area at that time. We started by providing culturally competent mental health services and over the past 50 years our services have expanded to meet the needs of the community. Today continues to serve immigrants and refugees of all backgrounds and our current programs include behavioral and primary health services, substance abuse prevention and treatment, center for survivors of torture, shelter and services for survivors of domestic violence and human trafficking, senior wellness, youth programs, and community advocacy.
